SHORTLISTED FOR PLUM PRIZE: Self-described 'reality blogger' Kevin Lim, a PhD student at the State University of New York, could win a US$10,000 scholarship for his online musings.

A SINGAPOREAN blogger is in the running to win US$10,000 (S$14,600) for what he does best: blogging.


Mr Kevin Lim, a PhD student specialising in communications at the State University of New York in Buffalo, in the United States, has been shortlisted for what is claimed to be the first blogging scholarship anywhere.

Blogs are 'Web logs', or diary-like entries published on a public website.
