(Granado Espada in Nation Education)

You must be wondering what that is. It is actually a competition, which uses GE [Granado Espada(more details later)] to teach people National Education (in Singapore, of course). In this competition, we are supposed to make a video[also known as machinima(more details later)] to tell people how we can use the game to teach people about National Education.

Granado Espada is a new game that came out in February (closed beta). There has been rumours about GE being a p2p(Pay 2 Play) game, but news haven't been announced yet. It is a MMORPG(Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game).

Machinima(noun) Basically it means machine animation or machine cinema. As a production technique, the term concerns the rendering of computer-generated imagery (CGI) using real-time, interactive (game) 3D engines, as opposed to high-end and complex 3D animation software used by professionals. Engines from first-person shooter and role-playing simulation video games are typically used. Consequently, the rendering can be done in real-time using PCs (either using the computer of the creator or the viewer), rather than with complex 3D engines using huge render farms. As a film genre, the term refers to movies created by the techniques described above.

Usually, machinima productions are produced using the tools (demo recording, camera angle, level editor, script editor, etc.) and resources (backgrounds, levels, characters, skins, etc.) available in a game.

In other words, it basically means video taking of a game thats often used in the computer.
