I was using this software for my project (video). The software is user-friendly. It is the almost the same as the Windows Movie Maker but Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 has a template for your title and the subtitle.
You need to export the video/picture into the library in the Adobe Premiere Pro CS3. Then, It just like the Window movie maker, whereby we can combine picture to video. Also, we can combine videos into one file.
But there are some different features in the Premiere Pro. In Windows Movie Maker, we need to set start trim point and end trim point but in Adobe Premiere Pro CS3, you can just simply use the razor tool and just press delete the part that you wish to remove it from your video. I think it would be a good software for making video.
The other different is that there are more video effects and transition in the Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 than the Windows Movie Maker.
Last time, I download it from the Adobe Labs (http://labs.adobe.com/). It is beta so you can use it for life long.
